AL-star Fountain Pen

This Lamy AL-star is their base-model Safari, but elevated into a full aluminum body. What a big step up in wow-factor for just $8 more! The casing is extraordinary light but still durable. For another wow-factor detail, a transparent grip reveals the workings of the ink feed. Now you can see if your pen is clogged, or just marvel at how pretty ink is flowing through the feed!

The Safari and AL-star pens have a distinctive triangular section to help encourage proper grip, and are made from sturdy plastic. Each pen is finished with a clip and a stainless steel nib. Your Lamy AL-star will come with a blue ink cartridge to start you off, and you can also choose from any of Lamy's cartridges, or purchase a Lamy-brand converter.
